The Word Of God

The Holy Words Of God Almighty

What does this title mean to you?

Should the “Word of God” not be taken literally and treated as teachings from God to His people?

Should the “Gospels” delivered by Jesus Christ, be viewed as facts and truths concerning Jesus three year ministry on earth as the “Son of God”?

What if any attention should be given regarding the Epistles of the Apostles, their letters, and the “Book of Revelation” by John?

If the Holy Bible is in its entirety the Holy Words of God Almighty, then how can we treat any part of it as suspect, or as a story to entertain, rather than God teaching His children?

The Old Testament and the New Testament, all sixty-six books comprise the book known today as the “Holy Bible”

To the Jewish community it is the thirty-nine books of the “Old testament” of the Holy Bible, and, the first five books; Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and, Deuteronomy, are known by the Jewish peoples as the “Torah”. These five books are God’s holy teachings given to Moses and are “Sacred” to both Jew and Christian.

To the Christian community, these thirty-nine books are very important because they are the cornerstone if you will to the foundation of Christianity. Christianity draws from the “Prophets” in order to lay the foundation for the Gospel teachings taught by Jesus and later the teaching books more commonly referred to as the Epistles and the Letters of the Apostles, twenty-seven books, were added, completing the book commonly known today as “The Holy Bible”.

Christians believe that the Holy Bible, all sixty-six books from Genesis up to and including The Book of Revelation are the Holy words of Almighty God, shared with mankind through the Holy Spirit. There have over the years been several translations, from one language to another, but the interpretation of God’s Holy Words, remain unchanged.

Every book written by man, is created by God. We are incapable of anything without God’s assistance. That said, God’s fingerprints and Jesus fingerprints are all over both the Torah and the Holy Bible, books of teaching passed down age to age for thousands of years.

Almighty God  is the author of His Holy Word, both the Torah and the Holy Bible. God, through the Holy Spirit, inspired man to write down His inspirations, his teachings, his commands, so that mankind could have a permanent written record for all time. Yes God could have done it all himself, just as he did with the Ten Commandments he gave to Moses, but God desired that man’s hand should have a part in the recording of God’s Holy Words.
