The world’s leading homeopathic ophthalmologist, Dr. Edward Kondrot, MD, has been named Clinic Director of the Integrative Medicine Clinic at The American Medical College of Homeopathy (AMCH) in Phoenix, Arizona. AMCH is a leading homeopathic college for Classical Homeopathy, whose mission is to transform health through being an international homeopathic Center of Excellence in Education, Research and Clinical Care.

As Clinic Director of the state of the art Integrative Medicine clinic at AMCH, Dr. Kondrot will be responsible for recruiting doctors, overseeing quality control, supervising nurses who will be assisting doctors and be the liaison between the doctors and the community. The clinic, which is both a teaching and research clinic, offers reduced fee services to its patients, making homeopathic and alternative care more affordable to the thousands of patients seeking alternative treatments.

“I’m honored to serve as Clinic Director at AMCH,” says Dr. Kondrot, founder of the Healing the Eye & Wellness Center. “Homeopathic medicine is more popular than ever, as the number of patients seeking an integrative approach to health continues to rise and students are finding it to be a solid and satisfying career choice,” he says.

The AMCH clinic will be staffed by members of the Arizona Homeopathic and Integrative Medical Association (AHIMA). Dr. Kondrot is currently the President of the AHIMA, which was founded in 1982 to promote and provide leadership in the art and practice of Licensed Homeopathic Medicine, to preserve and improve the health of the people of Arizona by developing and maintaining the highest standards.

“This is a great opportunity for doctors to give back to the community and help those individuals who would otherwise not be able to afford these services,” says Kondrot. “I am requesting that each staff member donate half a day per month of their time to evaluate and treat patients at the clinic,” he says.

The clinic will open on January 8, 2013 and offer homeopathic and alternative evaluations and treatments for those individuals with eye problems. For more information, or to schedule an appointment, please call the clinic at 602.864. 0512 or visit the site at www.amcofh.org.
