Things You Must Think Carefully Before Buying A Smartphone

Smartphones have taken over the world like no other gadget. They have become a part of the lifestyle, or maybe “the” lifestyle for some. Despite there being billions of smartphones and thousands of different models, people can often end up making decisions they should not make. They pay too much attention to the stuff they hear from others and abandon their own research on a phone. The end result is either a very expensive phone with not that good of a value or some phone that has more faults than features. Here are some important points to keep in mind when buying a smartphone:

Expensive Is Not The Best

While flagship phones are the most expensive ones and also the ones with highest number of features, they are not always best for you. If you consider your needs carefully you can easily find a phone at less than half the price of a flagship phone. This phone will meet every need you have and some more. In most cases, it’s not the features that make a phone great but the brand name associated with the phone. Here’s something that needs your attention:

  • Samsung mobiles are good but they can be extremely expensive due to the brand name.
  • IPhones have good software optimization but customization is always lacking and it could be a boring phone for many.
  • LG makes great phones but there is always one big fault that becomes a fiasco for every LG phone.
  • Lenovo Mobile is probably the most underrated mobile phone out there. Their designs are great. They are rich in features. Some of their phones have unbeatable camera quality. They almost always feel really sturdy in hands. Despite all great features, they are some of the most reasonably priced phones on the market.
  • Motorola phones are fairly priced too but Motorola is always lacking the final touch in its products.

Mostly Ignored Feature

One big issue for new smartphone buyers is that they focus too much on display brightness, camera quality and the looks. What they always forget is the battery on the phone. You will always regret your decision if your phone does not have a good battery no matter how amazing the features are. You will always find yourself hugging walls and keeping your phone on the lowest possible settings to save battery at the end of the day.

The Big Fault

It is quite unfortunate and also nightmarish for the users that some of the biggest smartphone makers are a prey to some of the deadliest smartphone faults too. For example, the brightest displays of Samsung offer suffer from pixel burn-ins – an issue where your display leaves marks on your screen. LG had the bootloop issue with its best LG G4 and LG V10 smartphones where the phone will keep restarting. The dreadful thing about this issue is that it has no solution. HTC can always be a hit and miss with its camera quality. iPhone 6 suffered from bend gate and iPhone 7 has the hissing noise in its recordings that has been annoying many users.
