Things to consider when giving or receiving blood

Most of us donate blood.Here are some tips for all:

1.Donate blood only once in 6 months.Your body should be able to maintain the required blood level of your body.
2.Eat well before you donate blood.
3.You should be healthy and free from any illness as cold or flu.
4.Your weight should be atleast 45 kg.
5.You should be above the age of 16 to donate blood.Also the upper age limit is 70 years.

1.Reduces the chance of hear attacks.More red blood cells will be generated fresh in your body.
2.Blood donation avoids the problem of Iron overload in the body
