Yahoo News reports that their are least nine things that most people don’t know about Steve Jobs. Steve Jobs was born in San Francisco, February 24, 1955 and was adopted and raised near Mountain View, California by Clara and Paul Jobs. His adoptive father was a machinist for a laser company and mother was an accountant. Jobs discovered his biological parents identities late in life. His birth mother, Joanne Simpson, was a speech pathologist and his birth father Abdulfattah John Jandli, a Syrian Muslim who left the country at an early age and reportedly is now the vice president of Reno, Nevada Casino. Jobs reconnected with Simpson later on but he and his birth father remained estranged. Carbonated.TV reports that even-though he was the master mind behind the most successful company in the world, he never graduated from college, he never even got close. After he graduated high school in Cupertino, California, Jobs enrolled in Reed College in 1972 where he stayed for only one semester. He told a fib to his Apple co-founder about an Atari job. Well known for his skills and knowledge in personal computing, mobile tech and software, he also helped create one of the greatest games in 1975 by helping Atari with the Pong-like game Breakout. Like much of his family life, Jobs kept his marriage away from public and media. Even-though the corporate image of his trademark black turtleneck and jeans, Jobs was raising a family with Laurene his wife. Laurene an entrepreneur, attended the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton Business School and received her MBA at Standford, where she first met Jobs. Next Web reports that while seeking for his biological parents, he crossed paths with his biological sister, Mona Simpson (born Mona Jandali). She is the well-known author of Anywhere Here, a story about a mother and daughter would later portray Natalie Portman and Susan Sarandon in a film.
