This Is Not Christian Behaviour

Are you a loving and forgiving Christian, or, a hypocritical pharisee pointing a finger of accusation?

Pointing a Finger, Accusing a fellow brother or sister in Christ of wrong doing, within the “Christian” community, appears to be a favourite pass-time for some of its members.

Those considering themselves “Holier than thou” and sin free. Those who believe themselves to be human, yet claim to know how God perceives particular incidents, and feel that they have the right to act as God and accuse, even when God Himself does not accuse.

These members, seem to consider themselves above the others, even believing that they have been appointed as God’s Righteous Accusers, and going behind the back of a transgressor, a sinner, maliciously spreading the word of some sin, so that others will turn against the transgressor.

Woe! to those calling themselves Christians, who act as hypocrites, for they are nothing more than,”Wolves in sheep’s clothing” spreading idle gossip instead of practicing forgiveness as Jesus teaches.

Our Brother Jesus Cautions us in, MATTHEW: 7: 1-5;

“Judge not that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considereth not the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou “Hypocrite” first cast out the beam out of your own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly, to cast out the mote, out of ty brother’s eye.”

In JOHN: 3: 17-18

“God sent not His son into the world to condemn the world But that the world through Him might be saved. He that believeth on Him is not condemned.”

Jesus Our Brother, reminds us of the fact that Jesus came neither to accuse nor condemn any of God’s Children as he speaks,

If we look at JOHN: 8: 3-11; we can see again that Lord Jesus Christ, Our Brother re-affirms the fact that he will never accuse man for His or Her wrong doings, and neither will Our Father. Our only accuser, will be the biggest liar there is lucifer/satan.

The fact that any Christian would go behind the back of a sinner, or an innocent person, to spread his or her downfall to others, is nothing more than vicious and malicious gossipping. Shame on the one spreading that word, and shame on the one listening. This is also sinning.

The fact that any person may or may not have sinned, is a judgement call for God.

As an example: Let us say that we are observed by another brother or sister doing something questionably unchristian, or they come into a conversation in the middle and take something totally out of context to what was really being discussed, and they begin spreading vicious rumors about what they think the saw or heard, causing you embarassment and possibly chastisement from the congregation and the pastor.

Once discovering our sin, if and when we have sinned, our brother or sister in Christ should have drawn it to our attention, questioned us, and then as a “Good Christian” forgiven us, NOT shamed us, nor ridiculed us, nor snuck behind our back to inform and incite others turning them against us and causing us to become shunned. This is not Christian behaviour in the slightest.

We should not stoop to the level of our accusers, nor point a finger, at those that have wounded us, they know who they are, and know their sin. We must ask God to forgive them, having forgiven them already ourself.

If any of these so called Christians who we have called Brother Or Sister, that have turned against us happen to read this, We hope that our Brother The Holy Spirit, will deal with their consciences, and their hearts, and maybe, they will right their wrong against us.

In the words of Our Lord Jesus, “Father forgive them for they know not what they do.”
