Thousands of people welcomed Queen Elizabeth of Britain when he visited Uganda last week.
The jubilant people, some of had not seen the Queen face to face, braved the mammoth crowd to come in front to see her face to face.
Uganda, which was ruled by Britain during colonial times before independence, is a member of the commonwealth.
Demonstrators, who were unhappy with the rule of President Yoweri Museveni ,also took the chance of demonstrating by putting up placards.
However, the Uganda Police put them away.
This is the first time for the Queen, who came to officially opening the Commonwealth meeting, to come to Uganda after Independence.
