Three Russian Sukhoi Technicin died in Indonesia




 

THREE RUSSIAN SUKHOI TECHNICIAN DIED IN INDONESIA

                The Headquarter of Indonesian Air Force made a statement that three Russian technician died due to alcoholic drink.  Alexander Poltorak is a member of the hydraulic system.  Serge Voronin is a member of the engine system and Victor Safonov is a member of the radar system.  They just arrived in Indonesia to accompany three Sukhoi fighters bought by the Indonesian government to strengthen Indonesian airforce. 

                Monday morning east Indonesian time at 7.40 they were found lying unconsciously on their bed.  Poltorak and Voronin were rushed to the hospital of the Sultan   Hasanuddin airbase in Makasar.    Poltorak died at 9.10 am east Indonesian time.  Meanwhile Voronin died at 10.10 after being treated in Stella Maris hospital.  Safonov was hospitalized in the hospital of Sultan Hasanuddin air base in Makasar. He died at 22.50 pm in Stella Maris hospital.

                Indonesian police head quarter stated they have indication that they died because of alcoholic drink especially the high dosage of methanol.  The head of Medicine and Health Center, Brigadier General Musadeq Ishaq told there is a possibility that the methanol was mixed with alcohol that they drank. 

                Before they died, they were vomiting, they found difficulty breathing and finally they failed breathing.  Those symptoms showed that they were poisoned with methanol, he said.  Musadeq said the police doctor had examined their internal organs such as brain, liver, lung, kidney, and colon. They found a high dosage of methanol. 

                Meanwhile Brigadier General Budiono, the head of Central Laboratory of Forensic of the Indonesian police told that the police had found twenty four evidences including sixteen pieces drugs like pills, four units of liquid, and four internal organs of the victim. They also examined two units of drink in plastic containers.
