Time to improve the meaning of change

I am currently reading that link above. Any-one may do well to read it too. Since the power to purchase belongs to anyone who earns that power, by any means, the nature of our “National Interest” includes an interest in preserving that power to purchase.

If people allow their minds to be directed, conditioned, and manipulated into a state of duplicity, then people may not recognize their own responsibility and their own accountability. If that state can occur, by force of will, and by the power of people who will do anything to gain more power for their own utility (or enjoyment), then bank on that happening. It will happen if it can happen.

A state of duplicity is a disease. The infected individual will perceive falsehood as being truth. An example will suffice to illustrate the nature of duplicity and how duplicity manages to transfer purchasing power from those who earn it to those who steal it by fraud and by force.

A quote first and then an explanation of this infection of duplicity (if you please):

+++++++++++++++
The ADIA first made headlines in November 2007 when it acquired a $7.5 billion stake in Citigroup, America‘s largest bank holding company. The fund has also made substantial investments in Advanced Micro Systems, a major chip maker, and the Carlyle Group, the private equity giant. Another big SWF, the Kuwait Investment Authority, also acquired a multibillion-dollar stake in Citigroup, along with a $6.6 billion chunk of Merrill Lynch. And these are but the first of a series of major SWF moves that will be aimed at acquiring stakes in top American banks and corporations.
+++++++++++++++

A human being may be living in relative comfort while knowledge of other people’s misery (torture and mass murder) becomes apparent to the human being. If that human being living in relative comfort stood next to the mother whose child has its head blown off by the responsible individuals causing the babies head to separate from the babies body, then the human being living in relative comfort would be less comfortable.

Enter stage left: Duplicity.

If the same human being had been indoctrinated into a belief in the justification for committing any act, no matter how uncomfortable, then said individual may be inspired to separate babies’ heads while mothers helplessly embrace their dead offspring. On the one hand the individual is intimately aware of the wrong of it and on the other hand the individual is convinced of the right of it; it being the separating of heads from babies being held by mothers. Perhaps the child is merely wounded.

That is the stark naked duplicity, yet there are layers. The more complex the duplicity the better the duplicity will be for ensuring very low probabilities of realizing a state of duplicity in time to avoid extremely uncomfortable situations; such as the one described above. In the past the military was a meritocracy founded upon defensive application of force. Today that force is turned into aggression, invasion, occupation, theft, torture, and mass murder and the best of that breed bubbles up to the top of that heap. Today the best of the old military (those not infected with duplicity) are less likely to “succeed”. Consider reading a book titled BOYD if you refuse to entertain my perspective on these observations of fact.

Another layer of this duplicity infects the people who have become known as (taken on a label) taxpayers. Taxpayers have been, and some continue to be, people who believe in the need of sending hard earned purchasing power to a central location for the defense of their ability to live and let live. The idea was, and in some cases continues to be, an economic division of labor whereby the farmer and the cook, the factory worker and the salesman, the laborer and the manager, all, worked harder for, did without, and invested in the hiring of people who could, would, and did defend against liars, thieves, rapists, torturers, and mass murderers. Today a taxpayer may believe in the old reasons and the old methods of ensuring something we once called Liberty while that person sends power to people who lie, steal, rape, torture, and murder massive numbers of innocent people. That, people, is a layer of duplicity.

When the power we have is gone, including the power of oil, we THE PEOPLE will no longer be able to afford the luxury of duplicity. That time is not now.

Now we have the power to invest in prosperity. We can use our power to produce and maintain a steady flow of power from nature to the people who earn power without lying to ourselves or others, without stealing, without raping, without torturing, and without mass murdering innocent people.

We can just as easily end duplicity as with ease someone somewhere pushes a button to vote.

Please consider these words:

+++++++++++
It is well enough that people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for if they did, I believe there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning.
+++++++++++

Before tomorrow morning know where the revolution will be fought and won. It is in your own mind first.
