ILead is a premier media and management institute and they have played a pivotal role in getting these courses to the masses so that they can derive the best from these professional courses. It is precisely with this aim in mind that they had organized a seminar on 4th April in the ILead campus in Kolkata.
The program was a glittering one with a number of dignitaries from all around the country and some of them were from abroad too. The delegates added a lot of charm and panache to the event and made it a very popular one that added another feather to ILead’s cap.
A Number of Delegates
There were a number of delegates in this function and this can well be understood by the fact there were representatives from the Indian Leather Products Association as well. This clearly reflects the enormity of the event.
The Chief Guest for the event was Mr.Sanjeev Wadhwani who gave an electrifying speech on virtues of the modern student and how they need to think out of the box in order to achieve their goals. Mr.Mukund Vasudeo Kulkarni is the Chairman on the TRIO Group and Mr.Tapan Nandi of the Freya –IIDF were also present.
Leather Calling
Leather Calling is a unique concept that was launched in this seminar. This innovative concept was introduced with the aim of getting students curious and interested into joining the leather industry. It was Mohammed Sadiq who is the representative of the Central Leather Research Institute who introduced this concept by holding a shoe in his hand and compared it to Cinderella’s slippers.
This novel method of getting students interested speaks volumes about the fact that these are pretty ingenious and they can easily invigorate meritorious students so as to derive their maximum exposure.
Preserving the Past and Glorifying the Future
Thus, we see that Ilead has played a major role in conducting this seminar and this has enabled them to preserve and encapsulate India’s past in the leather industry pretty well and has also helped them to glorify the future.
This gives students the chance to explore new avenues in the field of leather and helps them in thinking out of the box. There was a major need to motivate students to do new things and this is the only way in which the youth can be made to realize the value of leather. Vive Le Cuir!
