Top IAS official arrested

A senior IAS officer hailing from Andhra Pradesh was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation in a disproportionate assets case. Mr K. Narasimha, a 1991 batch IAS officer of the Assam, Goa, Meghalaya and Union Territory cadre, was arrested by the Anti-Corruption Branch of CBI in the city on Tuesday. However, the arrest was not publicised. He was produced before the court of special judge for CBI cases in Nampally.
