A senior IAS officer hailing from Andhra Pradesh was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation in a disproportionate assets case. Mr K. Narasimha, a 1991 batch IAS officer of the Assam, Goa, Meghalaya and Union Territory cadre, was arrested by the Anti-Corruption Branch of CBI in the city on Tuesday. However, the arrest was not publicised. He was produced before the court of special judge for CBI cases in Nampally. The CBI began investigating Narasimha’s alleged ill-gotten wealth to the tune of Rs 1.64 crore in 2006
