Tortured by step mom and father, a girl committed suicide

A seventeen years old girl, Hemlata committed suicide in Bangalore .This girl poured kerosene all over her body and sets fire on her. She was battling for life in hospital for 5 days and died on 7 July.

Hemlata was second child of three daughters of Mahadeva and Shivamma. Her mother died recently and her father remarried. The elder sister is also married.

The problem started when second wife of Mahadeva start torturing his two unmarried daughter. Even Mahadeva instigated by his second wife, started humiliating his daughters. On July 2 her father beat her in front of other family member and ask for die. This became unbearable to her and she took this extreme step.

Aunt of Hemlata lodge complaint with police.
