SP Leh Dr. Sunil Gupta chairs public awareness meet in Leh
Traffic awareness week observed in Leh Ladakh
Leh /Srinagar, January 09, (Scoop News)- Leh Police organized a Public awareness campaign about traffic rules and their implementation at Leh. SP Leh Dr. Sunil Gupta chaired the public interaction meeting in which large number of public and transporters participated.
Superintendent of police Leh Dr. Sunil Gupta chairs function in connection with traffic awareness at DPL Leh. The camp was held on the culmination of the traffic awareness week that was held from 01-01-2014 to 07-01-2014. The function was also attended by number of civil and Army officers and Ladakh Transport cooperative society Leh, Ladakh private bus operators union, Ladakh Taxi union, Ladakh Mini bus operators union,407 load carriers union,207 load carriers union and motor bikers union.
During the functions SP Leh Dr. Sunil Gupta welcomed and hailed the audience for attending such a programme which involves safety and welfare of general public. He reiterated that a well managed traffic is the index of a civilized society and a city. He urged the stake holders to obey traffic rules and regulations and to cooperate Police to make Leh city free from accidents and other traffic hazards.
The functions concluded by flagged off a rally of different types of vehicles fitted with play cards, hoardings and banners organized by District police Leh passed through main Bazar Leh and disbursed at Petrol pump by SP Leh Dr.Sunil Gupta.
