Srinagar, October 04, (Scoop News)- For smoothing plying of traffic in Srinagar city on the eve of Eid-ul- Azha, Traffic Police Srinagar has devised route plan for Dargah Hazratbal and Eid Gah.
Accordingly all the vehicles coming from Lal Chowk to Dargah Hazratbal (Central Kashmir) shall adopt the routes Lal Chowk – SRTC Bridge – Ikhwan crossing – Police Station Khanyar – Bhori Kadal – Rajouri Kadal – Gojwari Chowk – Hawal- Sheri Bhat – Bagi Ali Mardan – Lal Bazaar – Dargah Hazratbal.
While Vehicles coming from Baramulla – Kupwara – Handwara – Bandipora – Budgam shall follow Bemina Bye Pass –Tatto Ground – Qamarwari – Cement Bridge -Noorbagh Sekidafar – Sazgaripora – Hawal – Alamgari Bazar- Lal Bazaar-Dargah Hazratbal.
Meanwhile, Vehicles coming from Anantnag, Kulgam, Shopian and Pulwama shall adopt Panthachowk-Sonwar-Gupkar-Nishat-Foreshore road towards Dargah Hazaratbal. These vehicles shall remain parked in Naseem Bagh Kashmir University and on their return they shall adopt the same route.
The vehicles coming from different destinations towards Eidgah shall adopt Lal Chowk – SRTC Bridge – Ikhwan Crossing – Police Station Khanyar – Bhori Kadal – Rojouri Kadal- Nowa Kadal-Sekdafar Route.
While the vehicles coming from Baramulla-Kupwara- Anantnag(north /south Kashmir) towards Eid Gah shall adopt Panthachowk- Sanatnagar-Hyderpora- Bemina bye pass –Tatto ground – Qamarwari – cement bridge -Noorbagh Sekidafar – Eid Gah.
However, all vehicles shall adopt on their return from Dargah Hazratbal Shrine, the following routes: –
NIT – Aishahibgh Crossing – Rainawari – Khalifapora – Nowpora Bridge – Khayyam Chowk (Right) – Ikhwan Crossing – SRTC Crossing. North bound vehicles shall take left turn at SRTC crossing along Moulana Azad Bridge Dalgate towards Panthachowk. However the vehicles bound for North Kashmir will be diverted at Khalifapora towards Peer Dastigeer Sahib Khanyar – Sumkachbal – Police Station Khanyar – Nalamar Road-Qamarwari for their respective destinations.
Vehicles carrying people from South Kashmir, Harwan and other areas may adopt Dal ForeShore Road. People arriving from Kangan and Ganderbal areas shall board near Naseem Bagh and take the same route back.
