Jammu, September 10 (Scoop News)-Analogous to the Delhi fast track court coming up with a verdict on four gang-rape accused found guilty and awaiting sentence tomorrow, Shivani Cultural Society comes up with a tribute to the victim Damini through a proscenium presentation in city of temples in parallel.
Entitled “Main Damini Bol Rahi Hun’- the subject goes contemporarily well with the recent court verdict on the case as J&K’s ace stage and commercial artist Neha Lahotra braces up for a soliloquy presentation at K L Saigal hall tomorrow at 12.30 p.m, a show which the actor has already performed under the direction of Vikram Sharma earlier to thumping applause from the critics and the general public.
“ I think this would be a greatest tribute to the victim as the verdict on the four comes tomorrow when we would be performing the show live at the same time,” a very enthusiastic Vikram Sharma said.
Neha, who is to live the character ‘Damini’ live on stage says that she is bit nervous in apprehending about her talent justifying the role to live up to the expectation of audience.
“ While justice gets announced for Damini tomorrow in Delhi Court, I am anxious in getting my acting ability getting into the groove to give justice to Damini at the same time on stage,” said Neha who earlier has performed Damini on many occasions without much ado.
“This is a real testing time for me,” she says.
Neha and Aaditya Bhanu, both have penned down the most sensitive case of Damini for proscenium performance while Himanshu Darshan has done a commendable job in assisting in direction while adding live innovations to the subject.
