Today’s Sunday School message was a terrific message on joy! As followers of Christ, we can have joy in the midst of sadness because we know that we are not alone. God has a greater purpose for our pain.
As a sinner, I know that I am a mess without Jesus. However, I can have joy because Jesus came and died on the cross for my sins. Christ who was perfect, became sin for me. The Lord wants us to look beyond our circumstances. He wants us to experience the kind of eternal joy that only comes from having a personal relationship with Him.
