Jammu, December 02, (Scoop News)- Cautioning the whole country about the BJPs win, Former Minister and Member AICC Abdul Gani Vakil today said that if Narendar Modi, God forbid! becomes the Prime Minister, it will be a tsunami like situation for India and this happening will never prove fruitful or in the interest of the country at any stage. India’s existence is dependent on its secular ideology and history is witness to the birth of India which is due to religious tolerance and secular credentials and due to efforts of Congress party same stands maintained till date but preserving its existence will become endangered, difficult and an uphill task if BJP’s gains power, Vakil said. Mr. Vakil was addressing a party workers meeting at Jammu today organized by J&K Sevadal. Meeting was presided over by Chief J&K Sevadal Balwinder Singh Sambyal.
While addressing the workers Mr. Vakil said that from the day one BJP’s communal agenda has taken toll in various states including J&K and Narendra Modi’s win will only bring a disrepute to this secular country because Gujrat riots blot is still visible on the face of Modi and a person who even failed to infuse sense of security in the minds of common masses never deserves to be PM. He made all efforts to kill innocent people and hundreds of women were brutally raped during his regime in Gujrat. He left no stone unturned in demolishing and uprooting secular pillars and credentials in Mahatama Gandhi’s home state. His actions only contributed in facilitating carnages in Gujrat which resulted in strengthening the agenda and dangerous plots of extremists undoubtedly make him ineligible for any higher post.
Commenting on Modi’s remarks and comments on abrogation of Article 370 of the Constitution of India, Vakil lambasted at Modi and his party BJP for opting double stand over Article 370 and said when BJP is in power they talk of strengthening Article 370 when out of power then abrogation of Article 370. He said anybody trying to weaken or erode Article 370 is inimical to peace and tranquility. He said that Congress is duty bound to safeguard it and no one can be allowed even to the level of thinking to weaken this bond between India and J&K.
Mr. Vakil said that It would have been a appreciating action if Modi would been barred from entering this State and this signal would have gone to the nation and the world that a person who is responsible for ruthless killings and rapes has not been allowed to enter in the land of Rishi’s and Munis where Mahatma Gandhi has seen a light of unity and brotherhood.
Besides others who addressed the meeting include J&K Sevadal Chief Balwinder Singh Sambyal, Sr. INTUC leader Jugal Kishore Sharma and several others.
