Two-day University of Peshawar Volleyball trial begins

PESHAWAR, Mar 05 :- A two-day trials to select University of Peshawar Men Volleyball team got under way here at Campus court on Thursday.
The selection committee headed national player Haider Iqbal with other members comprising Yahya Jan, Muhammad Ali, Imtiaz Khan and Muhammad Saleem Khan organized the trials.
Talking to APP, Yahya Jan said that the trials is open to all and players from all educational institutions under University of Peshawar have been invited for the trials.
He said soon after the selection the players will be short-listed for the camp to be starting from Friday (Mar 6). The camp will be continued till March 19, 2009 while the Championship of the Zone-B of the University of Peshawar Men Volleyball Championship will be starting from March 20. The selected probables will also represent University of Peshawar in the forthcoming HEC Volleyball Championship to be played at NUST Rawalpindi.
