Two die, one injured in road mishap
CHITRAL; Two persons died and one sustained injures in a road accident here on Thursday.
According to SHO police station Chitral a car bearing registration No. PSC 1151 was on its way from Barinus Gol to Chitral town, when it reached to Barinus nullah, fell down in a deep stream while negotiating a sharp turn.
As a result two persons including driver died instantly while a passenger sustained injuries.
The dead identified are Akhlaq Ali Shah son of Gul Shah resident of Singoor Chitral and Driver Fazlud Din son of Haji Akbar resident of Mroi while one Irshad was discharged from the hospital after first aid. Chitral police registered the case under FIR No. 530 and started investigation.
Meanwhile, provincial president of labor union Works and Services Department Zainul Abideen and Chairman Board of Director Legal Awareness Program for Human Rights Chitral strongly criticized dying cadre of road collies whose posts abolishing on retirement or death of road collies. They said that by this way numbers of road collies are decreasing while chitral having 5000 long roads. The existing number of road collies is not sufficient for maintenance and repair of roads. They have appeal to Chief Minster of NWFP for carrying amendment in this criteria and not to abolish seats of road collies on their retirement or death.
Meanwhlie District Police Officer Chitral Muhammad Saleem Khan Marwat was posted out he had joined at Chitral some 3 months ago. Reasons behind his transformer could not ascertain.
