Two killed and more than six injured in a suicide attack in Khyber Agency

PESHAWAR: Two persons killed and more than six injured in a suicide attack near to Taidi Bazar, one kilometer away from historical Khyber Pass in Jamrud tehsil of Khyber Agency, federally administered tribal area adjacent to Peshawar, capital of North West Frontier Province of Pakistan. Political administration confirmed the explosion as a suicide attack. According to the political administration authority 03 officials of khasadar force were injured in the blast. “It was a suicide attack on containers that supply goods to NATO forces and there we found some parts of body of suicide bomber”, Political agent of Khyber Agency Tariq Hayat and political tehsildar Bakhtyar Mohmand said. “A huge explosion occurred at a bridge near taidi bazaar due to which 02 persons killed and more than six injured”, local people said to this correspondent. “Six injured were shifted to Hayatabad Medical Complex that include Shakeel, Ahmad Atif, Ahmad Raqeeb, Ghulam Hayat, Faheemullah and Taj Mohmmad”, Hayatabad Medical Complex administration said. “In the blast a bridge destroyed while a container-supply goods to NATO and a passenger vehicle damaged in the explosion”, according to the local people. Due to the blast supply line to NATO forces in Afghanistan has been cut once again and political administration stopped every kind of traffic on Pak-Afghan higway.
