Srinagar, September 19 (Scoop News) – A bear attacked and injured Shabeena Akhtar daughter of Ghulam Qadir Rather resident of Mandakpal Khrew, falling under the jurisdiction of Police Division Khrew. The injured lady was shifted to hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, 65 years old Meena Kour wife of Late Janak Singh resident of Chadibugh got seriously injured in bear attack outside her home, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Tral. The injured has been shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for treatment.
2 shops damaged in fire
Two shops were damaged in fire in South Kashmir’s Kulgam District last evening.
Fire broke out in the shops of Farooq Ahmad Rather son of Ghulam Muhammad and Bashir Ahmad son of Muhammad Maqbool residents of Sopat, Kulgam, resulting in complete damage to both the shops. Fire was brought under control with the help of fire tenders and locals of the area.
Body fished out in Anantnag
: The body of 55 years old Ghulam Ahmad Shah son of Ghulam Rasool resident of Ashmuqam was fished out from Nallah Liddar near Srangsoo village, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Ashmuqam.
The body of deceased was handed over to his next of kins for last rites. Ashmuqam Police has registered a case in this regard.
4 bridges damaged by rains in Kupwara
Four bridges were damaged in North Kashmir’s Machil area of Kupwara district last evening.
Due to heavy rains four bridges were damaged in Machil area, in the jurisdiction of Police Station, Kupwara. Two bridges got damaged in Ringpayeen, one in Chatwari and one in Thali.
Unidentified body recovered in Kupwara
:A unidentified male body was recovered from Pehru Nallah in Kupwara.
Police Kupwara recovered an unidentified male body age about 45 years old non Muslim near Bumhama from Pehru Nallah, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Kupwara in suspicious circumstance. The body of deceased is laying in Sub District Hospital, Kupwara for identification and other formalities. Police has registered a case in this regard.
