Two People Killed in Teera Bazaar Bomb Explosion

Two people were killed and twenty three others including two women were injured when remote control bomb was exploded in a bus terminal of Orakzai Agency located in Carvan Sarai of Teerah Bazaar Kohat.

 

 According to Kohat police sources a bearded man entered in Carvan Sarai (popularly known as Saifur Sarai) where travelers of Orakzai agency were waiting for the bus, he was holding a bag in his hands, he had placed the bag near the door of bus terminal manager’s office and moved back to exit from his office when remote control bomb placed in the bag went off, consequently Shah Zaman resident of Mullah Zai Peshawar and  a young tribesmen Naik Naam resident of Arha Khel Orakzai agency were killed at the spot, and  Zaida Bibi, Anzla Jan, Kabir Ali, Shamim Ali, Talib Ali Saifur Ali, Saifur Ali, Parvez Khan, Tanweer Hussain, Dilawar Khan, Nisraj Ali, Muhammad Jan, Imdad Hussain, Amin Hussain, Shafiq Ali, Rizwan Ali, Sangeen Ali, Iqrar Hussain, Waseel Khan, Ishaq Ali, Shaukat Hussain, Musawar Hussain, Zabib Ali, Meer Hussain and Ashiq Ali were injured.

 

Soon after the explosion in Saifur Sarai Kohat police had cordoned off the Teera Bazaar area,  DIG Kohat region Muhammad Idrees Khan, and District Police Officer Dilawar Khan Bangash along with bomb disposal squad and relief team of Rescue 15 police Kohat have visited the Sarai and have inspected the troubled spot. Emergency in all the hospitals of Kohat was imposed and all the staff was called on duty.

 

Chief Minister NWFP Mr. Amir Haider Khan Hoti had condemned the violent incident and had announced free medical treatment for 23 people including two women injured in the bomb explosion.
