Two Run-A-Way Souls on a Mission to Live

Poetry From The Heart

Come…we’ll float away to a distant place
watch stars twinkle in a thrilling space?
Sit in the big dipper, paint a canvas of beauty
as clouds rush pass like children that’s tardy.
The moon’s radiance turn’s darkness to light
sparks love into an uttermost gratified height.

Let’s float the galaxy as two atoms hung in time
look down at rivers flowing to twist and wind.
Two particles dart and spin upbeat in the sky
a love burns like a fireball with rationed time.
Two older souls have strong tender hearts
afraid to face-up to an existence of being apart.

Let’s glide over creation until the time’s right
hitch a ride on a space ship’s timed flight.
We’ll vacation on the ship and enjoy the fun
hide from life like two bums on the run.
A love bound together, strong as steel
determines not to yield regardless of will.

Come…we’ll float away to a distant place
watch stars twinkle in a thrilling space?
Two run-a-way souls on a mission to live
cannot contemplate to give-up or ever give-in…
come…we’ll float away to a distant place.
