SHWEBO, MYANMAR: Two Turkish nationsl have got three-year jail sentences with hard labours as they were found guilty of money thef in Shwebo in central Myanmar.
Mehmet Ali Topcu, 44, and Duygu Av-La, 31, admitted to the charges to Shwebo Township Court and they were sentenced each three-year jail term with hard labour by the court on 27 September.
The two Turkish tourists were arrested after they stole K2 million (around US$1800) from a electronic shop in Shwebo on 5 September, 2011.
