U.S. Clock is still ticking for War with Iran

A meeting between Javier Solana of the European Union and Iranian officials netted no results as the Iranian government stated categorically that they would not halt the enrichment of Uranium. Also, present at the meeting was William Burns, which was thought to be a good indicator as to the possibility of open talks and possible reconciliation. This hope in large part was due to the fact that, U.S. and Iranian diplomats have not had face to face meetings in about thirty years.

Nevertheless, the meeting amounted to nothing more than a stalemate. The Iranian government will not stop enriching Uranium which is the prerequisite for any negotiations with the United States. It also seems that the European Union is getting a little impatient with the Middle East Nation, because now they have set a time limit for Iran to stop its enrichment of Uranium and that time is short. If the Iranian government does not cease its nuclear ambitions in two weeks they will face further sanctions, which is certain to lead to the suffering of the Iranian people.

We are seeing a picture develop here and it seems to be a carbon copy of the times leading up to the war with Iraq. The United States is giving ultimatums; the United Nations Security Council passes resolutions, and then the United States acts. We must wonder if the Iranian leaders were paying attention before Iraq fell and Saddam Hussein was hung for his crimes. Is this just a matter of pride with the Persian Nation, or are they just being foolish? It seems to me that they were saying that their nuclear ambitions were peaceful and it was only to be used for power.

However, they are being told to stop enriching Uranium, which is used for Nuclear weapons, and they are saying no. This can only mean that they enriching uranium for nuclear weapons, or they do not believe that the United States will not be so bold as to open up another war front. I must say that if the latter is the case, then the Iranians are heading for a big surprise and an incalculable mistake. I would go into further detail, but I have thought better of that and I will simply say that Iran will not stand long in the face of a U.S. attack. We must remember as well that Israel is ready to go now if there is no diplomatic solution to this problem.

It is not with pride or arrogance that I make the previous statement, but it is only the awareness of the technology possessed by the United States that makes me certain of the outcome. No my friends the clock is ticking and there are those in power that are becoming weary and impatient with Iran’s defiance of the world’s demands. These governments are ready to do what it takes to have Iran succumb to their wills. It may only be another show of how quickly a Middle Eastern Nation can fall. Perhaps we are heading towards what is known as Armageddon. All that I know and I say this with complete sadness that the time draws near when the world will soon witness another bloodbath in the Middle East.
