Udhampur & Samba Police solved murder cases

 Jammu ,February 20 (Scoop News) – Udhampur police solved a mysterious double murder  case by arresting the main four accused involved in the heinous crime which occurred at MES Headquarters  during the intervening night of February of 1st and 2nd ,2011 .

Police said that the accused have been identified as Jagpaul (MES Employee), Balbir both Sons of Karori Mal of MES Quarters Chopra Shop, Hari Dass son of Sohan Lal of Chopra Shop and Om Parkesh son of Bishan Dass of Chopra Shop, Tehsil & District Udhampur.

 

Reports revealed   that  two employees of MES namely Moti Ram son of  Amir Chand of  Majalta-Jib working as  Electrician and Bodh Raj son of Parma Nand of  Roun Domail, Tehsil & District Udhampur working as Storekeeper in electrical Unit have been murdered with sharp edged weapon by unknown persons while performing their duty. Case FIR No. 22/2011 U/S 302/RPC was registered at P/S Rehmbal. The accused persons after the commission of the offence went underground.

 

            SSP Udhampur constituted a special investigation team headed by Addl. SP Udhampur .A massive hunt was launched to nab the accused persons. Rehmbal Police succeeded in effecting the arrests of four accused persons namely Jagpaul (MES Employee), Balbir both Sons of Karori Mal of  MES Quarters Chopra Shop, Hari Dass son of Sohan Lal of Chopra Shop and Om Parkesh son of Bishan Dass of Chopra Shop, Tehsil & District Udhampur involved in the instant murder case.

Police recovered weapons of offence also. Fifth accused namely Tara Chand son of Sohan Lal of  Chopra Shop is still absconding. Police is making all out efforts to arrest the said accused person.

                       
                        The investigation conducted so far reveals that the motive behind this murder is dacoity and the accused persons to fulfill their nefarious design also committed the double murder. Further investigation of the case is going on.

 

In another case Samba Police solved the blind murder case of  Nagar Singh whose body was found from bushes  near village Tapyal on February 19, 2001.

The accused have been identified as Neelam Rani Lalotra wife of Balbir Singh Caste Rajput of Tapyal and Raman Kumar @ Munnu son of Mohan Lal of Tapyal.

Reports said that on February 19,  body of one Nagar Singh (18 years) son of Netar Singh Caste Rajput of Tapyal, was recovered from bushes near village Tapyal.  The dead body bore visible slit throat injuries and it was evident that the deceased had been murdered.

The investigation revealed that there could be more than one persons involved in the murder .During investigation, different teams were constituted to probe on different lines. On a specific lead suspect Neelam Rani Lalotra wife of Balbir Singh Caste Rajput of Tapyal was questioned, who during questioning disclosed that she had called her paramour to meet in the Tapyal Nallah as her family members had gone to attend some marriage function and she was alone in her home. The deceased Nagar Singh, who was cutting bushes near the khud spotted lady alongwith the paramour on the fateful day of 18.02.2011 at about 3.00 PM, in compromising position. He challenged them and tried to raise hue and cry, sensing trouble Raman Kumar her paramour  hit him with a stone on his head, the deceased fell down and tried to use his sickle which hit the stones and got broken. Both Raman Kumar & Neelam Rani caught hold of him, over powered him, and took the blade of the sickle (Darat) of the deceased with which Neelam Rani inflicted injuries on the neck & head of the deceased, who in defense used his hands to protect himself and received injuries both on his hands and arms. Thereafter, the Raman Kumar, who was carrying a Toka alongwith him took out the Toka and slit the throat of the deceased and murdered him by inflicting multiple injuries on his neck.

During the close fight the accused Raman Kumar also received minor injuries on his hands. On the instance of both the accused persons, the weapon of offence and the blood sustained clothes have been recovered and seized. Accused Raman Kumar @ Munnu son of  Mohan Lal of Tapyal, who after committing the crime was evading his arrest has been apprehended from Barnoti, Kathua by the Police party headed by Shri Shazaad Salaria, Dy.SP HQ.
