The card does not fearture any title match but does feature some very heavy handed fighters that could provide a night of excitement.
Michael Bisping vs. Chris Leben
Michael “The Count” Bisping (17-1) will be returning to England where he is a fan favorite to take on Chris Leben (18-4). Bisping is 6-1 in the UFC, 5 wins coming due to TKO and his only lose was to Rashad Even who is the number one contender in the light heavyweight division. Bisping has look unstoppable in his last two fights since dropping down to the middleweight division and is the looking for his shot against Anderson Silva. Standing in his way is another Ultimate Fighter Alumni Chris “The Crippler” Leben who wants another shot at Silva himself. Leben is coming off a TKO of Alessio Sakara is know to have heavy hand an iron chin. Chris is the will be the best test for Bisping as the Middleweight Division. This fight will most likely not make it to the judges scorecard.
Keith Jardine vs. Brandon Vera
Keith “The Dean of Mean: Jardine (13-5-1) willing be returning to the Octagon since May when he lost to Wandererlei Silva by knockout. Jardine is a well round fighter with knockout power, great takedown defense, and strong cardio. Jardine is looking to get back to the number one contender spot but he will have to beat Brandon “The Truth” Vera. This is Brandon Vera’s second fight since dropping down to light heavyweight and faces a much stronger opponent then his last opponent Reese Andy. Vera who is 1-2 since his year long contract dispute with the UFC has not had the best of luck since his return. He has cut weight down to the weight class he can compete in. Vera is has vicious Mauy Thai and high level Brazilian Jujitsu. This Fight most likely not make it to the judge scorecard either.
Rameau Sokoudjou vs. Luiz Cane
Rameau Sokoudjou (5-2) is coming of his first win in the UFC and would like to continue the winning ways. Sokoudjou last fight was his best fight in the UFC and shows the true power that he can be. Luiz Cane (9-1) will be making his third appetence in the Octagon and is also coming off his first win in the UFC. Also, just like Sokoudjou his last fight was won by TKO.
