A strange picture is circulating on the internet which purports to show an ‘alien spacecraft’ being driven along the Capitol Beltway near College Park on the back of a truck at night is actually an advanced prototype of the Northrop Grumman x-47 C.
The object is roundish in shape and looks like a saucer shaped craft.
‘A UFO In Maryland! Where’s Men In Black When You Need Them!’ @AyeeKeithyKeith said of the saucer-shaped vehicle.
The ‘alien spacecraft’ was in fact an experimental X-47B being driven along the Capitol Beltway as it was moved from West Virginia to Naval Air Station Patuxent River in Southern Maryland, according to a report in the Mail Online a British newspaper publication which recently ran a story called: Flying Saucer or military drone? Massive rise in UFO sightings is directly linked to emergence of unmanned aircraft (source: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-2506021/Flying-saucer-military-drone-Massive-rise-UFO-sightings-directly-linked-emergence-unmanned-aircraft.html?ico=sciencetech%5Eheadlines).
The Northrop Grumman X-47B is a demonstration unmanned combat air vehicle (UCAV) designed for carrier-based operations. Developed by the American defense technology giant Northman Grumman , the X-47 project began as part of DARPA’s J-UCAS program, and is now part of the United States Navy’s Unmanned Combat Air System Demonstration (UCAS-D) program.
Many speculate that the craft (photographed above) was not a X-47B but a X-47 C – a much larger, more advanced version of the X-47B with a payload of 10,000 lb (4,500 kg) and a wingspan of 172 ft (52.4 m).

This is the first known public photograph of the new X-47C unmanned combat air vehicle.
Others suggest it was in fact a Boeing “Phantom Ray.” Either way it sure had people talking !

The Pentagon absolutely refused to comment on this matter.
