UN vacate injured civilians Sri Lanka
The UN in Sri Lanka has evacuated civilians injured in the fighting between government forces and Tamil Tiger rebels. Including 50 children critically injured, they are being moved to a Ministry of Health hospital in Vavuniya. The procession has crossed the frontier of the Northen battle zone.
