Jammu, February 04 (Scoop News) – Union Home Minister, P. Chidambaram who arrived here Thursday had one to one meeting with Chief Minister Omar Abdullah at the latter’s official residence this morning.
During the meeting which lasted about an hour, the two leaders discussed matters pertaining to the security scenario in the State. The issues relating to the development projects were also taken stock of in the meeting.
Later, the Chief Minister and the Union Home Minister got appraisal of the security and law and order situation and reviewed the measures in place to maintain peace and tranquility in the State.
The meeting among top brass of security forces and J&K Police was attended by Deputy Chief Minister, Tara Chand and Chief Secretary, Madhav Lal.
