Reasi, Febuary 01, (Scoop News)- Union Home Secretary, Anil Goswami today reviewed post flood operations in flood-hit Reasi area of Jammu region. The Union Home Secretary took stock of the situation in a meeting chaired by him here on Sunday afternoon.
Addressing the meeting, Goswami said that he has come here to listen to the people’s problems. He gave full assurance to the people to take up their demands, adding that the area has witnessed development in various sectors but there is a need to gear up efforts by the concerned line departments to give impetus to the developmental activities for strengthening delivery mechanism and boost tourism.
Goswami assured all help from the Centre to the State to overcome the difficulties and help relief and rehabilitation of the affected population. He added that a comprehensive report of his tour would be sent to the Government of India as early as possible.
He further impressed upon all the officers to make optimum use of the available resources to provide better services to the people. He stressed for coordinated and dedicated efforts for strengthening the developmental initiatives.
