Sheri Robertson, owner of Foxxy Brown’s women’s consignment, is expanding her business by opening a new store just for men. The men’s only consignment store called Tag is expected to open during the last two weeks of February.
“Opening a consignment store solely for guys has been a dream of mine for a while, so when a retail space became available in Lynden’s Fair Square Shopping Center, just two doors down from Foxxy Brown’s, I decided to jump at the opportunity,” shares Robertson.
Men’s only consignment stores are unique across the nation because many retailers choose to offer men’s and women’s items in one store. “I believe Tag will be the only consignment store in Washington State that focuses on men. It’s pretty exciting to think about becoming a destination store for Northwest Washington and Canadian shoppers wishing to buy or sell gently used clothing and accessories.”
With the addition of Tag, the Fair Square Shopping Center in Lynden, WA will become a one-stop location for family consignment shopping. Men’s and women’s items will be available through Robertson’s two stores and children’s items through neighboring retailer The Little Red Wagon.
Tag is currently looking for consignors to fill their shelves with good quality, stylish pieces including casual clothing, business attire and formal wear, ski pants, athletic shorts, and rugged occupational pieces like Carhartt and Dickie’s overalls and coats. Accessories, shoes, boots and athletic footwear items are also being accepted.
While the new retail space is under construction, consignors are asked to drop off men’s items Monday through Saturday, 9am – 6pm at Foxxy Brown’s, 1885 Front Street in Lynden, WA.
