United Nations assist for NRHM

India – New Delhi: Ban Ki-moon the Secretary General of United Nations has prized National Rural Health Mission of India. Technical support of the U.N. agencies will be continued and improved for the program. He visited a Health Minister’s office in the first time in any country.

 

On Thursday Ki-moon discussed with Anbumani Ramadoss the Union Health and Family Welfare Minister about health related issues and the climate change, crisis on the health sectordue to collision of the global financial.

 

The U.N. Secretary General Appreciates the initiatives on tobacco control and containing non-communicable diseases.
