Being naked gives a person some advantages. It’s cooler in the Tucson, Arizona heat. You don’t have to worry whether your clothes match. Lack of attire is comfortable when you’re lounging around at home.
But appropriate campus “wear” it’s not.
That’s what Cody Wilson, 22, found out Monday morning when he wandered into a building on the University of Arizona campus. There’s the off chance he was sleepwalking since he entered the building at 4:45 a.m.
Being naked must make you stronger. How else to explain how Wilson was able to push a male employee along a hall and force him into a men’s bathroom? He groped the victim’s genitals through his clothing and attempted to push him to the floor. The victim at this point resisted and Wilson fled.
There’s no information about the relative sizes or ages of each of the men. Neither is the victim’s name available.
Wilson didn’t get far. Providing a description of the attacker was not difficult, and he was apprehended near the Education Building by UA police.
His nighttime escapade has landed him in big trouble, charged with the felonies of sexual abuse, kidnapping and aggravated assault on a school employee. In case those charges don’t stick, he’s also charged with criminal trespass and indecent exposure. He was booked into the Pima County Jail.
Wilson did make one wise decision. The building he originally entered was the Psychology Building, which contains a field of study he is possibly familiar with.
No picture of the Wilson is available.
