Unofficial polling results have confirmed victory of General Parvez Musharaf

 

President Parvez Musharaf has got comfortable majority in Presidential elections, counting of votes is completed by Election Commission of Pakistan authorities, according to unofficial sources President Parvez Musharaf has secured  252 votes in senate and national assembly where total 257 votes were polled his opponent Mr. Wajeeh ud Din advocate has received only two votes, three ballots were declared wrong, in Punjab Provincial Assembly total 257 votes were polled, 253 votes are polled in favor of President Parvez Musharaf, Mr. Wajih ud Din has got only three votes and one ballot was declared wrong, in Sind provincial assembly total 104 votes were polled , 102 members have voted in favor of President Parvez Musharaf and Mr. Wajih ud Din has received only two votes, in Provincial Assembly of NWFP total 31 votes were polled in favor of Mr. Parvez Musharaf, and in Baluchistan provincial assembly all the 35 voters have voted in favor of President Parvez Musharaf. Total 386 votes of Electoral College are polled in favor of President General Parvez Musharaf, officially the result will be announced after decision on petitions against his reelection in Supreme Court of Pakistan.

Meanwhile in Peshawer capital of NWFP Pakistan during polling hours in Provincial assembly, lawyers have reached near the assembly building and had chanted slogans against President Parvez Musharaf and USA, during clash between lawyers and police one police officer and five lawyers were injured, “ President Peshawer High Court Bar Association Mr. Abdul Latif Afridi when collided with police armored car  during protest demonstration before NWFP assembly has broken his both legs,” Mr. Tariq Mehmood ex vice president PML(Q) has said. He has further added that during conversation with him Mr. Abdul Latif Afridi has said that with the help of Afghanistan, Russia and Israel we will liberate NWFP.
