Jammu, October 14, (Scoop News)-Describing the United Nations’ October 14 decision to not take any cognizance of Pakistan National Security and Foreign Affairs Advisor Sartaj Aziz’s October 12 anti-India letter on Jammu & Kashmir to UN Secretary General Ban ki-moon as yet another outstanding diplomatic triumph of Narendra Modi Government, Prof Hari Om, Political Advisor to BJP State President Jugal Kishore Sharma (MP), on Tuesday, said that world body only vindicated the Indian stand that Jammu & Kashmir was a bilateral issue that needed to be decided by India and Pakistan in accordance with the 1972 Simla Agreement and that the UN resolutions had become absolete.
“The refusal of the UNGA to take cognizance of the nasty letter of Sartaj Aziz and it’s big NO to the Pakistani suggestion that it should intervene so that the so-called Kashmir issue is resolved as per the aspirations of Kashmiri people is a big slap on the face of the Pakistani political and military establishments,” said Prof Hari Om, adding that the UN’s refusal to intervene also constituted a big snub for the out-on-the-limb and discredited Kashmiri separatists like Syed Ali Shah Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Yasin Malik, Shabir Shah and others of their ilk.
“Indian nation is in safe hands. It ultimately got the government it needed the most to show Pakistan, an irresponsible non-state and epicenter of global terrorism, its rightful place and obtain for it a status in the comity of self-respecting nations. The Narendra Modi Government has proved in just 100 days that it means serious business, that it would not tolerate anything non-sense and that it is committed to upholding the unity and territorial integrity of India at any cost,” Prof Hari Om further said, adding that it would be in the interest of Pakistan and Kashmiri separatists to behave failing which New Delhi under the able, effective and visionary leadership of Narendra Modi would take stringent action against them and produce a moral effect so that none dared in the future to raise even a little finger against India.
Prof Hari Om said gone were the days when Prime Minister Manmohan Singh; Foreign Ministers K Natwar Singh, S.M. Krishna and Salman Khurshid; Home Ministers Shivraj Patil, P. Chidambram and Sushil Kumar Shinde ; Defence Minister A.K. Antony; Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad; and Water Resources Minister Saif-ud-Din Soz would make highly irresponsible, loose and unsettling statements to muddy the Indian waters in the Indian Jammu & Kashmir and accord dangerous legitimacy to the illegitimate and bogus Pakistani leadership and irrelevant Kashmiri secessionists and communalists and rabble-rousers. “India entered a new era full of hope and promise for the future on May 26, when the nation-backed Narendra Modi took over as the Prime Minister of India,” he said, and added that the future of India and the Indian nation is destined to be glorious under the new dispensation.
“It is for the first time in centuries that India has a strong government, strong leadership and strong war machine that is backed to hilt by the nation,” Prof Hari Om further said, adding that the new government is not only committed to regenerating the socio-economic and political life of the nation but also committed to becoming a world leader sooner than later.
