Uruguay Callup For Key Matchups

Oscar Washington Tabarez made his list of 22 players and El Maestro showed some important moves as they prepare for two vital matches against Paraguay and Chile world Cup qualifying play.  To start, Murcia goalkeeper Fabián Carini was not called up while Lazio’s Fernando Muslera were called up by the national team coach.   The midfield will consist of Maximiliano and álvaro Pereira due to the absence of Napoli Midfielder WAlter Gargano. 

In the offensive front, Getafe’s Juan Albín was called up in addition to the usual suspects. 

Uruguay are currently in fifth place in the CONMEBOL standings with 13 points.
