US drone attacks kill 8 people in South Waziristan

Wana, South Waziristan: The pilotless U.S. aircraft targeted a house and a car in Wana that claimed some 8 lives.

An unmanned U.S drone in 2 different missile attacks, one on a house and the 2^nd on a car killed some eight people, in the tribal areas of north western Pakistan, according to media reports.

The targeted house and the car were totally destroyed in the missile attacks, according to witnesses.

These drone attacks have killed more civilians than insurgents so far and the result is expected, though the anti-American sentiments are growing among the people of Pakistan.

There are voices coming out not only from the civil society but even the politicians and parliamentarians to stop the drone attacks but there have not been seen any progress so far.

Every Friday, after the meeting prayer, protest rallies against the U.S drone attacks are taken out in the major cities and towns of Pakistan.

Where the speakers urged the U.S government to stop the drone attacks, because these are only helping the extremists and insurgents.

Moreover, Pakistan is a sovereign and democratic entity and these U.S drone attacks are the open violation of the Pakistani airspace.

Although, Pakistani security forces are battling with the Taliban insurgents in tribal belt as well as Swat and Buner regions of north Western Pakistan and these drone attacks are aimed to compound the Pakistan with more troubles and difficulties.
