FSA fighters beat and torture Syrian Policemen who were captured trying to protect Christians near Aleppo.
The US backed FSA (Free Syrian Army) have joined force with the Islamic state and Al-Nusra Front – two of the most violent extremist terrorists organizations in Syria to fight President Bashar al-Assad Armed forces according to multiple commanders on the ground.
In some case they openly boast of their partnership:
“We are collaborating with the Islamic State and the Nusra Front by attacking the Syrian Army’s gatherings in… Qalamoun,” said Bassel Idriss, a commander of a Free Syrian Army brigade. “Our battle is with the Assad regime, and it is on Syrian lands only,” he told to Lebanon’s Daily Star.
Another FSA commander put it this way – the “combining of forces” with the Islamist terrorists was needed in order to achieve the greater good:
“We have reached a point where we have to collaborate with anyone against unfairness and injustice,” said FSA commander Abu Khaled. “Let’s face it: The Nusra Front is the biggest power present right now in Qalamoun and we as FSA would collaborate on any mission they launch as long as it coincides with our values,” the commander concluded.
Coincide values?
This follows reports that the FSA are engaged in barbaric and horrific acts like beheadings and executions. Precisely the things the US says it opposes?
The Obama administration has over the past couple years delivered 600 tons of weapons and supplies to the Free Syrian Army. According to intelligence assessments, the United States has trained over 20,000 FSA fighters. These weapons include small arms, assault rifles, shoulder-fired rocket-propelled grenades, and TOW anti-tank missiles as well shoulder fired anti aircraft missiles.
Recently Sen. Rand Paul blasted the Senate for arming Islamic radicals in Syria.

The problem appears to be that the US is arming ISIS through the FSA and doesn’t even realize it?
