‘Barack Obama is the first US President to attend Republic Day Celebrations’
New Delhi (GR-TYP-BYN): The US President Mr. Barack Obama and First Lady Ms. Michelle Obama witnessed the 66th ‘Republic Day Celebrations’ and ‘Republic Day Parade’ in New Delhi on January 26. Mr. Barack Obama is the first US President to attend the ‘Republic Day Celebrations’ and to visit India twice.
President of India Mr. Pranab Mukherjee, Vice President of India Mr. Mohd. Hamid Ansari, Prime Minister of India Mr. Narendra Modi, Union Defence Minister Mr. Manohar Parrikar and other Dignitaries and Top Officials were present on the occasion.
