Jammu, June 17 (Scoop News)- Veteran KP leader and president All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference Hira Lal Chatta passed away this evening in a local hospital after a brief illness.
He was admitted in J&K Medicity By-Pass road in a serious condition three days before.
Mr Chatta who complained pain in Chest five days back was admitted in GMC, Jammu for treatment where his condition deteriorated further. The family alter shifted him the J&K Medicity next day were he has been put on life support system. His condition was very critical as he was not responding to treatment.
Meanwhile Several KP organizations and leaders has deeply condoled condoled the sad and untimely demise of Veteran KP leader H.L Chatta.
The leaders expressed profound grief and shock over the untimely and sad demise of H.L Chatta and described him as a dedicated and sincere solider of the KP community who devoted his entire life in the service of people.

Jammu, June 18 (Scoop News)-The mortal remains of veteran leader and social activist Hira Lal Chatta President of All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference (ASKPC) who passed away yesterday evening in a local hospital after a brief illness were consigned to flames on Wednesday at Bantalab crematorium amidst chanting of Vedic Mantras.
Thousands of people joined his funeral.
Earlier huge crowds surged at the residence of Hira Lal Chatta at Pomposh colony Janipur,Jammu soon after hearing the news of his sad demise. Hundreds of people drawn from all walks of life paid last respects to the departed leader. The funeral procession started from his residence and the body was kept in a carriage bedecked with flowers.
Leaders of political parties, social activists, heads of many NGOs, intellectuals and thousands of people from all walks of life have expressed shock and grief over the demise of H.L Chatta.

President of All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference Hira Lal Chatta was hospitalized following chest pain few days ago in the Government Medical College Hospital.
Following deterioration in health condition, he was admitted in J&K Medicity. Since then he was surviving on life support system and according to doctors was not responding to the treatment.
Mr chatta is survived by his wife ,son and a daughter
