The volatile situation in Kandhamal district of Orissa flared up again as more churches were set on fire and nearly 70 houses were burnt in Tikabali and Raikia.
A 24- hour curfew has been clamped in Rakia and night curfew has been clamped in 8 other places.
The fresh deterioration of the law and order has been blamed on the police firing which killed one person.
According to the officials ,despite curfew,the tribals and women are coming out in sufficient numbers to defy the restrictions.
