Can you imagine, a man can put the garbage by the river bank to capture the public property, as his own for selling it afterward to others with an evil intention to earn money? No it is not a story, just a fact still going on, in a village in Savar, near Dhaka. The local Chairman is exploiting his power on the local administration and with his order the local municipal workers are dumping the wastage of that locality in the river bank just to capture the governmental land. He even does not care how it feels to the existing population of that area. As many of those helpless people told against that chairman and the toxic and environmental effect of that evil job on them, like spreading of diseases, lacking of pure water, decrease of fish in the river.
There is an ancient saying in Bengali “Porer Mathay Kathal Bhenge Khawa.” I think the discussed one might be a great example of that ancient proverb.
