Islamabad: The British Foreign Secretary, David Miliband has arrived in Pakistan today and in a press briefing with Pakistani advisor to interior, Rehman Malik, he told that the war on terror could not be won without the participation and cooperation of Pakistan.
He is on his two days official visit to Pakistan and he will meet with Pakistani President, Asif Ali Zardari, and Prime Minister, Yousaf Raza Gillani.
He appreciated Pakistan’s vital role in the war on terror and coping with the unrest, created by the Taliban and Al-Qaeda insurgents, in the tribal areas of North Western Pakistan.
He urged Pakistan to cooperate with India, in the joint investigation of Mumbai attacks but he also made it clear that the culprits should be put on trial inside Pakistan, if they are apprehended.
