Shane Warne may not be a shy man, but he stayed mum when asked about re-ignited romance with former wife Simone Callahan at a recent press conference. Warne, who participated in the Aussie Millions Poker Championship for his sponsor 888poker, preferred not to comment on the state of their relationship. However, he did say that Callahan wouldn’t be at Crown for the poker championship. "She’s down at the beach with the kids," the Herald Sun quoted Warne as saying.
Rumours that the former Aussie leg-spinner and Callahan were giving their relationship a second chance started to spread after the latter was recently seen shifting some of her personal belongings into the sportsman’s new Brighton mansion. The pair was seen enjoying some family time at Callahan’s beach house on the Mornington Peninsula.
Meanwhile, a report said that Warne wants to play a prank on close pal Michael Clarke, whom he’s planning to fool with a fake tattoo arm. Warne showed off a brand new arm-length tattoo and asked the reporters at the same press conference if they liked his new body art, and then surprised everybody by rolling down the fake tattoo sleeve and pulled it from his arm. "Gotcha, didn’t I?" the Daily Telegraph quoted him as saying.
The cricketer then explained that he was donning the joke sleeve to trick Clarke, who last month hit the headlines with a huge new tattoo. Clarke’s new ink shows off a guardian angel sitting on a cross, with the initials of his fiancee Lara Bingle inscribed at the top. Warne said that Clarke’s new body art was the perfect opportunity for him to have a bit of fun with a former teammate. "I take photos and send them to Michael," said Warne.
