Ways to Avoid the Styling Mistakes Brides Often Make

A perfect wedding takes months of efforts and life changing decisions. And, when the big day appears close the last thing you can’t stop thinking about is – your looks. Yes, it’s true, even I couldn’t. Therefore, mark my words and take a step back. Relax and stop going through various stuff online. It will only add more to the confusion. To look the best on the most photographed day of your life without any regret, avoid the mistakes that brides often make. Here is what you need to do.

1. The Wedding Dress
It all begins with the wedding dress, which is mostly brought months before the wedding. The most common mistake the brides make is, not consider all the outfit options. Its all because they saw someone wearing a particular dress and fell in love with it. Honestly, you don’t need to look like anyone else when you have the option to look yourself. The most important part of it is to make sure to get a regular size dress and try to work around it, otherwise it will only stress you in the future. Therefore, do not rush!

2. The wedding shoes
Don’t be tempted to wear any kind of shoes just because they won’t be visible. It is considered one of the most common and the biggest mistake one can commit. With the years of experience in the wedding industry and that of my own wedding, it is strongly recommended to never choose beauty over comfort. But, the truth is that at one point or the other people will see them. Therefore, find a pair of shoes that is comfortable first and then pretty, but also goes well with the dress. They are more important than you imagine.

3. The wedding veil
The first thing that usually comes to a person’s mind thinking about a bride is a veil. It is basically used to enhance the wedding gown magnificently. Therefore, before you set your heart on a particular headpiece make sure to carefully choose your bridal gown first. However, in today’s modern setting it is not a necessity even for a traditional bride. Opt for the veil only if it enhances your overall look otherwise, don’t. Just for the sake to prove you’re the bride (which everyone knows) do not destroy your wedding look.

4. Wearing The Right Accessories
Over accessorizing is one of the common oversight committed by the brides. The perfect way to deal with the problem is to choose only one or two from the long list of accessories to remain simple and yet stylish for the big day. Along with them wear a belt only, if it enhances the look because having a waistline does not always mean you need it and vice versa. While choosing a clutch from the trending wedding clutch bags collection make sure to match it with your other accessories and dress. But, do not forget that with the wedding dress, less is more. Therefore, do not indulge in something new on the wedding day. Stick to what you already know, something that is comfortable as the ultimate goal is to look the most beautiful version of your regular self.

5. Makeup & The Hair-Do
It is the day you would want to look flawless and timeless. Therefore, plan ahead of time and book the makeup trials to avoid any last minute commotion. Brides usually miss out these trials because of the packed schedule. Be different don’t make the same mistake. Opt for looks that are timeless, keep your makeup light & natural with a bold red lip stain. Keep the hair accessories and the hairstyle simple to achieve the everlasting look for the wedding because the more elaborate the hairstyle, the more difficult it will be to handle. Avoid making an extreme hair change before the wedding. It is definitely not the right time and day to experiment.

So, never forget the little things while planning for the wedding, as those little things always matter the most. Whether it is one of the designer wedding clutches for the brides you need to choose for yourself or a bouquet of flowers, stop worrying and just be happy. A happy bride is a beautiful bride. So, be happy getting married!
