We will not yield to any kind of pressure- PM of Bangladesh

During the third oath of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that their government will not yield to any kind of national or international pressure. She said this to the reporters at Bangavaban after the swearing-in ceremony. She said that to protect democracy they are also ready to do negotiations. She also said that BNP is spreading violence across the country in the name of politics, which must be stopped right now. She also mentioned that Khaleda Zia made a mistake by not participating in the national election, which she will understand very shortly. Before the election took place, Sheikh Hasina said that if BNP comes to negotiation then she will arrange a mid election as well. She said that they will take any action required if negotiation between major political parties happens.

The PM was asked a question that did she feel any kind of pressure by participating in the election without the main opposition party. In answer PM said that Sheikh Hasina never bows to any kind of national or international pressure. She said again that the opposition leader Khaleda Zia is  now understanding that she made the wrong decision. I don’t know from whom she took advice from, however she now realizes her mistake.

Responding to a question the PM said that today we are we have build up a new government. We hope that the people all over the county will cooperate with us.
