1) Find him attractive (and I mean no matter the looks, he needs to appear attractive to ME)

2) mutual respect

3) that he has a life of his own

4) mutual choice of spending our lives with each other (progressively, not all of the sudden: a promise of everlasting love at the beginning of a relationship can be really scary)

I hope I’ve been clear enough. You can tell this to all your male friends. If they behave like this and are not absolutely adorable to any girl they know, then the girl is wrong, and shouldn’t be paid attention to. Good luck
