Tweeter lashes with the trend “GoHomeIndianMedia” by the people of Nepal when they saw the unethical reporting on media. There were question which shouldn’t be asked to the people as they were already in pain. People around the world after watching this trend gets into the event and it became viral as they were self praising too. A video spotted by Indian media channel called “Ajj tk” has praised more about indian’s relief going toward Nepal:

Surely they get offended by the hurt full question which have been asked. Let’s get into this and figure out why Media needs to adopt this way, don’t they know that they may hurt the feelings of a person they are asking?

Answer is not that simple which we are thinking, in a lighter note it’s not the first time it’s happening but it’s the first time thing encountered to Nepalese. The real question is why this do happen? Yes i’m trying to emphasize on the word “Why” according to my personal opinion the very one genuine reason is “Channel/Program Ratings” as we see these channels are upon the money of advertisement they get. They would do everything to generate revenue as they have whole structure of their channel to feed and because of too many channels the competition have become more close to the hunt of ratings by any mean.
It’s been acknowledged many times channels get spotted by doing planted shows and controversies. Another reason these channels have become less empathetic from past two or three decades is also issuance of too much channel licenses. This thing should be controlled as there are controlling body above them but due to corruption and irresponsibility we see none in action against them. Currently there is no check and balance on media that what it is doing and sharing. They may take shelter of freedom of speech as well but there should be some ethnic points which can’t be crossed. And state has the power to implement these things.
Despite of all this happening people of India do think that it’s not how it should be, they have supported the fact as well that reporting was not good at all and this should have been handled with care as it’s a sensitive issue don’t exodus patience of Nepalese.
Lets compare this act with the recent Army Public School Attack in Peshawar,Pakistan. Because these countries are struggling with some basic moral or ethics on public level to governmental level base is shattered up due to extremism. The reaction of media on APS attack was kind of same as Nepal’s earth quake they didn’t care about the loss of the people all they were concerned to was that they break the news first. But the people of Nepal have shown a tremendous response of their sovereignty. They didn’t allow media to disrespect the people who suffer from earthquake. Here the Nepalese have earned the credit by showing they are a sovereign nation and it’s a lesson for the rest of the media houses you can’t earn respect by the unfair means.
