United States First Lady Laura Bush and First Daughter Jenna Bush, twin sister of Barbara Bush, were on CNN’s Larry King. The two of them were asked about the current state of the presidential races.
Senator John McCain of Arizona is the presumed GOP presidential nominee. Frontrunners Senator Hillary Clinton of New York and Senator Obama of Illinois are still in a political kickboxing match for the Democratic Party’s nomination.
Recently, Clinton had won by ten points in the Pennsylvania contest on April 22. However, Obama maintains his marginal lead in the delegate count over Clinton.
In regards to John McCain, both US President George W. Bush and First Lady Laura Bush have given their endorsements to him. Recently, McCain attacked the Bush administration along with the levels of Louisiana’s government on the quality of post-Katrina aid.
However, Jenna Bush has shown some signs of dissent. Jenna Bush said that she did not know who she was going to support. She explained that she was busy with writing her children’s books to pay attention to the current state of the presidential races. But, the interview was in regards to the upcoming wedding of Jenna Bush that will take place in May.
While Jenna Bush has said she does not know who she will support, there is the possibility that there will be a lot of rumors and theories. As she said she does not know who she will support, she said she will keep an open mind.
